My first update though I landed back on Malaysian soil 10days ago. The first 7days went by like a breeze…way too fast for my liking, while these last three days seem to move so slowly like time has been put on slow motion. Anyway, am posting this from bros pad in Port Dickson, since my other house where I reside with mom has no internet connection. Can’t be bothered to fix a new line since soon I will be moving back to the city and boy can’t I wait! Hehehe .

Mom decided to move back to Pd while I was on my 1 year stint in the UK, so yea I’m in a place that is officially more ‘ulu’ comparing to Windermere. Oh, I had a friend over the first few days I was back and we managed to enjoy the sunsets at the beach in front of mom’s place a couple of times. Now I’m the newbie when it comes to photography unlike my dear friend. Thanks Kyels for the editing (esp since I take senget-ed photos).

Sunset View from the 3rd 1/2 mile beach with part of Avillion Hotel in the background. I just love the sun light effect on the water & sand, and how the sky is lighted up with different shades of colours.

This photo was taken during a cloudy day, and we weren't expecting to get a good sunset. Boy were we wrong. The dark rain clouds made this photo a bit more dramatic while mom said it's similiar to the paintings I used to paint in those days. I love this photo a lot because the sky seems to be on fire!

The third photo was a candid shot taken. I shall call it view through Kyels fingers hehehehe. Photo was taken on a really cloudy day in PD, but yet we managed to get some good shots. Mine are crap in comparison to hers. Then again... I'm a NEWBIE *wink* hehehehe.

Went to work a little late today and left 2hours earlier as I was feeling pooly*. Had to go into work today as couldn’t leave my colleague to do all 44 check outs etc by himself.

What was wrong with me? Well kira I kind of made me tummy upset by not eating anything except a slice of toast for lunch yesterday. Nothing for dinner the night before, no breakfast yesterday, a lousy slice of toast for lunch and no dinner and went to bed. Woke up at 0300hrs and ran to the loo to puke. All the acid I guess. Horrible night after that. Tried eating something but just would not stay down =(. Anyway went to work and refused to eat anything because I could not afford to be throwing up at work. Just keep drinking fluids to keep going.

Anyways went to Tesco down the road at 6ish to get a proper meal of rice. Ran into Rachel and we both went to Co-Op and Tesco, got my groceries and then she invited me to dine at her place. A short trip to Tesco and 6hours later only I am coming back. Mamamia!!

View of the Lake District Between Windermere & Ambleside

Since it’s finally the New Year (based on the Chinese calendar), I’ve decided it’s time for a new look. A new beginning one can say. Still a lot of bugs that need to be fixed…but slowly I will get there. HTML codes are much easier to tackle in comparison to CSS.

I wonder how everyone celebrated their new year this time. I was off this year, but being in the UK it was not a big deal. So just lepak with some friends.

Valentines this year was very weird. Was working in the morning and finished around 1500hrs before rushing up to change and meeting Aunty Susan and Uncle Gavin who came to visit me on V-day for 1 night. We took a drive down to Hawkshead and Ambleside which is on the opposite side of the lake before heading back to the hotel for an hour and a half of rest and getting prepared for dinner. Rakan kerja I yang perancis (A) teman I untuk dinner. Now both uncle and aunty ingat dia balak I. hahahaha. Dinner turned out really great, and I think some people in the hotel (well mainly in the restaurant) had tons of questions running through their heads. Hahaha. We sure like messing around with peoples heads don’t we.

The next day I joined aunty and uncle and we headed across the lake again. This time to Dove Cottage in Grasmere where the famous William Wordsworth used to live (his first cottage) where he lived in the beginning with his sister Dorothy and then his wife Mary and family friend Taylor Coleridge. I bet to most of you these names especially Wordsworth and Coleridge are known you. Taylor Coleridge is familiar to me mainly through his work called ‘The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner’, a lovely piece of work might I say. While Wordworth is very popular here in the Lake District as he helped ‘pen’ this location on the map. After that we drove through Ambleside heading to Coniston where we visited John Ruskin’s grave. Didn’t take any pictures of the grave as I have this thing about taking pictures of graves, mummies etc. One can say just my little way of respecting the dead and letting them R.I.P. Our last destination before heading back to The Belsfield Hotel was the Blackwell Arts and Crafts House in Windermere itself. One word to describe the place… ‘WOW’. The view was magnificent and the whole layout of the house was incredible. It showed riches for the people in those days. Susah want to express, one needs to see it for themselves to experience what I am talking about.

Daffodils

On New Year’s Eve this year a few of us included a Spanish tradition into our New Year celebration. It’s nothing great but lets see if it works hehehe. No harm trying right? We had to eat 12 grapes each time the clock went ‘Tong’ ‘Tong’ Hahaha. Supposedly for 12months of filled with success, happiness and riches! Ahem!! Now how can I resists partaking in it considering how bad the second half of last year turned out. Well so far it has been good. Got a little token from my hotel small angpow hehehe. Though it was only a small amount but I think it’s good. I mean how many times will your general manager come and say thank you to you personally for helping to maximize revenue. So next gaji adalah duit lebih untuk aku Yipee!!! Hopefully I can earn more cash from overtime. Thinking of getting a part time job now just to fully utilize my time. Kind of weird having 2 days off each week after working 6days a week with more than 48hours each week back home.

Five more days till I fly off to Switzerland again. Suppose to be for 2 weeks but reduced because will be coming back early to “explore” London with my best friend Hien ^_^”.

Crazy plans this holidays as am planning to squeeze in 2 days in Rome into the whole week in Switzerland. 100pounds per person including accommodations and return flight from Switzerland is reasonably priced. Might as well enjoy while I can especially since I’m planning to totally increase my savings *fingers cross*.

I've found the best exercise ever. Wanna work majority of your muscles?? Hit the dance floor!! Twice in a week and I'm feeling good. Now I must learn to dance properly *grin*.

Crap 4hours till I have to wake up for my shift and I still can’t get any shut eyes. Scheiße!!
