1st Entry for 2007

By R.J

I am back to blogging now. Took some time off from filling up this space due to some personal reasons, and when I was finally ready to blog again. The internet was bonkers due to the earthquake in Taiwan that disrupted all the cables.

Last year was a wonderful year for me. It can be said to be one of the best years in my life because of certain things. 1 thing is I finally completed my degree in my chosen industry. Not to mention all the wonderful people I have gotten to know along the way. Any regrets for the year 2006? Hahahaha I can only say it would be losing 3 really expensive stuff ranging from a CHF 900 Bvlgari ring to my Sony Cybershot. The ring remains a mystery but the camera, all I can say was the whole night of drinking with my fellow classmates and the excited after getting my grades made me a little doodoo headed. I have got a new sony cybershot a DSC W50 which is 6megapixels but I miss my previous cybershot that has been with me since 2002. It may have only been a 3 megapixel but I got attached to it. Well hope whoever found my camera in Neuchatel La Gare will make full use of it (no point crying over spilled milk right?). But mom still nags me for losing it. There is a saying though, never forget or regret the things that made you smile, and since I have a lot of things to smile about 2006, the bad things were just minor setbacks. KEEP SMILING and KEEP TRUDGING!

As I was blabbering about in previous entries, the Christmas mood just never came. No big deal to me surprisingly. New Year celebrations was great though as we had gone back to Port Dickson. So yea we had a nice dinner on the eve courtesy of Aunty Anne. Which will explain how I gained 4kgs in just that 2 days! Hahaha But it was a nice time. Mom and I went to church the following morning. Ivan came as well and poor guy right after the graveyard shift. After mass we went to eating point for a drink then back to dads place. Ivan came too and stayed till evening. It was fun and after brunch we went to the beach with Jackie (my darling doggie) and Whisky (bros doggie). It’s the first time I took Jackie to the beach, but knowing her she probably went on her own when we lived in Pd as she was given her freedom to roam. Whisky I have no comments as she loves to swim, and follows my cousin Shigeko whenever he is down from Japan.

We took tons of photos that day. Will post them up as soon as I get my new laptop. It is already in PD so got to find one day to go collect it or plan for bro to bring it up when he comes for his classes.

Met Lily in KLIA the other day with Mei. It was fun seeing her again since the last time we saw Lily was in Neuchatel on our graduation day! But only an hour meet because her next flight out was at 0900hrs. Hey girl, apply in that hotel who knows you will get then you will be in Malaysia hehehe. Talking about work, Enough holidaying for me, time to get myself a proper job!

Well that is all the update for now. Will post the photos soon I hope and update frequently. Mandi time! I am still MELTING IN HOT HOT MALAYSIA!
