Lil' Ms. Spoil Sport & Her Trip
Could I get any more tired than I am today? Sigh. I'm back in Port Dickson (PD)....finally. Kept postponing it all this while.
This time around, the trip was not at all pleasant!. I admit since coming back from Neuchatel in February, I have been spoilt when it comes to transportation to come back to PD. It will either be mom who sends me here or bro who picks me up. Unfortunately for me, both mom and bro were busy today so 'lil miss spoilt sport' was left to travel by herself *pouts*.
Got a cab from the house to Puduraya....and well so much for catching the 1600hrs bus direct to PD. Don't know what happened..or when they changed their timing, but Restu did not have their every hour bus back down. If she had waited.....it would have been a long wait since the earliest bus out was at 1830hrs. Couldn't wait that long since she had told dad and aunt that she would be at their place by 1900hrs. So out of the station she went, looking for the STAR Lrt.... and slowly made her way to Kl Sentral after changing trains at Masjid jamek.
Once at KL Sentral, lil spoilt sport bought her ticket and went downstairs to platform 6 to wait for her long and not private 'chariot'. Unfortunately she forgot for a lil while how unpunctual our KTM trains can be at times. So instead of the supposedly 20 mins wait till the train arrives, she had to wait for almost 40mins. Opps...what a waste of time. She kept on looking at her watch wondering how on earth she was going to make up for lost time. Being late would always errupt a certain volcano in PD. "FINALLY!", she sighs in relief as the train makes its way to the platform.
She curces a bit while boarding the train at how rude its passengers are. It's not hard to see why anyone would find it normal to see her cursing. The passengers just forced their way into the train before its previous passengers can disembark. "Morons", she says under her breath.
After a bit, she manages to find herself a seat, while having her luggage between her legs and her laptop bag resting on her lap. Her trip to Seremban KTM station was uneventful but bearable as she slowly reads Jeffrey Archer's The Prodigal Daughter while listening to her discman.
After disembarking from the train, she stops to quench her thrist before realising that she doesn't remember the way to Seremban's bus stop. "How dumb am I",she says to herself for forgetting. Once she had gained all the information she needed, she finally started her unavoidable walk to the bus terminal under the unbearable heat.
Fortunately for her, she makes it in time to catch the City Liner bus to Port Dickson. She still doesn't believe she paid RM3.00 for one of the worst bus rides she'd ever been on. One hour later, the rattling and squeky bus finally arrives in the PD terminal and to her relief she manages to get a cab to her ol man's place under RM10.00. Suprisingly PD still hasn't started using meters in their cabs. So under RM10.00 was a good price for her trip. Guess what, volcano doesn't errupt as she made it in the nick of time, with still 5 mins to spare (1655hrs). Ooo what a relief. Even though after the trip etc, her dad still wasn't please with her. Wonder wonder.
It's now 0021hrs, 5 hours since she arrived to her ol man's place. Her eyes slowly begins to close as she is typing in her site. Mr. Sandman has done is work for the night. Off to bed she goes.
