22 years & 8 days
One week has past since I turned 22. How does it feel? Great I guess. Had dinner with Miranda, Shila and Leon at KLCC on the 20th .
Other than that I didn’t start my 22nd year the way I had imagined I would. Kenapa? Had been ill for a week before the D-bDAY..and it got worst on Sunday ,August 21st …which was yea…D bDAY…and continued to get worst. Well…. This is the second time this year I fell seriously ill. But then again the first was just due to the fact that my body couldn’t adjust to the ol’
So Instead of celebrating having lived for 22 years with many exciting experiences the day I turned 22, I ended up celebrating it on the 27th at Au. Jan’s place. They ( mom and Au. Jan) had already planned a BBQ party that night to celebrate my birthday and esp. Uncle Barry’s ( Au. Jan’s hubby’s) upcoming Bday. It was great…..though I didn’t invite many of my friends to it. Just my closest. During the BBQ, Au. Jan comes up to me and said, “Rohini you’ve got to cut the cake…coz un.Barry says its tooo girly for him”. *THE HORROR*. Lol.. Silently I went,”too girly?? Oh oh.” But after some talk with him , he agreed to cut it together. So there we were ….and when he said the cake was girly….hmmm. IT WAS! It was a blue & white Sugi Cake….(which was yummy by the way)…with Roses all over it.. Now…I may be a girl…but for those of you who do know me…that’s way too girly for me. But apparently roses just didn’t stop with the cake!. I got a rose bracelet, rose Laura Ashley mugs etc. Miranda of course could not stop laughing and stated, “ Hey Rohini…maybe it’s a sign!”. Lol….it was kinda funny. Now I aint saying that I don’t like roses, I do. But I’m more of the tom-boyish kinda girl. Taking part in sports interest me more than ……well you know.
