End of Internship
Today was my last day at JWMKL hotel. I can't believe how fast five and a half months have past since I first started at Marriott's sales dept. I have to admit that I've learnt alot about the working world.... at least I learnt more this time than I ever did compared to my previous traning. That could be due to the fact that here in JWMKL, they don't really care if you're a trainee....after sometime you have to do your job like your one of them. I had a blast there. First I admit it was ....bad.....but after I got used to the routine I actually loved going to work. (oMG did I just say I love going to work!??) hahaha.
Well,today I actually felt so bad when leaving the office. I like 'working' there and I like some of the people there....but like the saying goes, all good things must come to an end *sigh*
One thing I'm proud is that I've not only gained a lot of experinces, but also a whole load of friends. I'm going to be one hell of a manager one day...Like I said, I learnt alot on how a manager should treat their surbodinates if they want to achieve the maximum output each of their subordinates.
From my internship this time, I'm really interested in sales. so haha maybe one day I'll be a great Sales Manager / Director but for now I'll stick to the books and learn all I need to know about marketing and managing hospitality organization (MHO), hospitality op.management(HOM) and HR. Hahaha one has to know about HR if they want to lead people successfully.
Oh Crap! looks at the time...its already 0300hrs(Sunday). It's Sunday...YIpee!...NOT..Well I'm off to bed....Nity nites....YAWN.
