Anniversaire dîner au Marché...

It was the last Saturday of my "medical leave" period and how did I spend it?? LOL... The best way I know how to... Stuffing myself silly. LOL. Joke! Actually, we finally celebrated Dylan's super belated birthday at Marché which is located at The Curve, Damansara.

Marché is a pretty cool place and I fell in love with their concept of a market place. Simple yet it has an attractive atmosphere that creates a very relaxing and a homely feeling. Marché which basically means market place in French was basically designed with market style concepts all around and the large variety of food and beverages they served were delicious and reasonably priced. Oh, I forgot to mention --- the restaurant has a Switz concept.

*laughs hysterically loud*

As many already know, yours truly is Switz crazy. So, there was a bacon bit of walking down memory lane. Especially with the cuisines offered. Hehehehe. A must have when one talks about Suisse cuisines is "Rösti" which is derived as a potato dish from Switzerland and a very filling one I might add. It was a dish I got addicted to during my time in Switzerland

*grins cheekily*

Rösti

Okay, back to the dinner event.

Let us see... Dylan picked us up from our pad and once we reached The Curve, we blind folded him when we arrived and was about the walk towards the restaurant. It was hillarious watching him 'waddle' so ever slowly until I told him to put his hand on my shoulder and guided him towards our chosen venue. Now, with me being "naughty", I blinded him with my sleep mask which resulted in strangers pointing and laughing. It also made the mime artist guy "bully" Dylan even more

*rolls on the floor laughing with hands on my tummy*

"Naughty"

Now the mimer seemed to enjoy 'disturbing' Kyels younger brother, Ting Yang. He kept coming back to our table and disturbing the lil fella. Then again, the lil fella also loved disturbing him back so dua dua also same sweat case. LOL.

Ooh..... at the end of the dinner, I couldn't resists the urge to take picture with the cow painted in Switz trademark and colour. Photos taken by mon cheri Kyels.

"RJ Goes All Moooooo Ala-Suisse"

The night ended with us chilling at Laundry while sipping or gulping (whichever you decide to call it) our bottle of Smirnoff Red with our chosen mixers.

That's all from me now as its already 2326hrs and I've got to rise and shine by 0400hrs. I'm finally going back to work tomorrow.

Daphne's Piano Graduation Recital

By Kyels

I'm posting this on the owner's behalf because she was unable to post it up due to the unavailability of Internet connection in her place. Anyway, Daphne's recital will be held tomorrow at University College Sedaya International and she will be playing seven songs from one variation to another and all in instrumental form.

If you're able to attend, do come and give the graduating students support at the scheduled venue!

;)

The 2 Crazy Koi Siblings

Finally, an update from yours truly - all the way from Taiping which is also known as the Heritage Town to the locals here. Well, the photo above was taken yesterday at the annual Krista kindergarten concert and family day. As you can see, the two siblings have gone rather crazy and one ( the one on the right ) was obsessed with the purple rose and decided to stick it in his pants!

Oh, the horror!

And poor pretty rose!

I wonder did it survive its nightmare?!

Besides that, the other decided to pose with the oh-my-God-I'm-shocked-poser-look. I've no comments with these two posers.

*laughs out loud*

More photos will be posted when I have a stable and permanent connection which will be coming soon ... Very soon. Don't have to ask how soon. It's ... VERY!

*Photo edited by Kyels. Thanks Dearie ^_^"

Contemplation

Contemplation

This site has been abandoned for quite a while by the owner due to the unavailability of an Internet connection at home and I have decided to post a random entry here to keep it going and from rotting on the cyberspace. Anyway, this photo is entitled “contemplation” because it looked like she was pondering hard on a certain subject in her mind. I would not call this piece a candid photo because I told her to freeze because of the pose – it was an unconscious realization for me because she looked really cool seated that way.

Though the photo has obvious digital grains, I still love it because of the effect from the noise and if reductions were done the whole photo will look plastic and surreal. The grains were present because of the level of light sensitivity used, as the ISO has to be pushed slightly higher than 200 due to the underexposure of the surroundings.

Hopefully when she reads her site she will not manslaughter me because of the photo and I did post another of hers in my own personal space. She might be screaming when she sees this so please keep me safe from harm.

Just kidding!

Happy Saturday everybody!

Aloha From Port Dickson, Malaysia

Category: , , , , By R.J

My first update though I landed back on Malaysian soil 10days ago. The first 7days went by like a breeze…way too fast for my liking, while these last three days seem to move so slowly like time has been put on slow motion. Anyway, am posting this from bros pad in Port Dickson, since my other house where I reside with mom has no internet connection. Can’t be bothered to fix a new line since soon I will be moving back to the city and boy can’t I wait! Hehehe .

Mom decided to move back to Pd while I was on my 1 year stint in the UK, so yea I’m in a place that is officially more ‘ulu’ comparing to Windermere. Oh, I had a friend over the first few days I was back and we managed to enjoy the sunsets at the beach in front of mom’s place a couple of times. Now I’m the newbie when it comes to photography unlike my dear friend. Thanks Kyels for the editing (esp since I take senget-ed photos).

Sunset View from the 3rd 1/2 mile beach with part of Avillion Hotel in the background. I just love the sun light effect on the water & sand, and how the sky is lighted up with different shades of colours.

This photo was taken during a cloudy day, and we weren't expecting to get a good sunset. Boy were we wrong. The dark rain clouds made this photo a bit more dramatic while mom said it's similiar to the paintings I used to paint in those days. I love this photo a lot because the sky seems to be on fire!

The third photo was a candid shot taken. I shall call it view through Kyels fingers hehehehe. Photo was taken on a really cloudy day in PD, but yet we managed to get some good shots. Mine are crap in comparison to hers. Then again... I'm a NEWBIE *wink* hehehehe.
Photobucket

So who is it that took the above photos? Simple look below and you shall see. hehehehe. I love this photo of myself that Kyels took. She took really good shots of me but I took crappy ones of her -_-. Sowie Dear.

This last photo below, is the very person who helped me with editing my photos and also the dearie that took good photos of me. Who is this person? hahahaha GUESS!! lol

p/s: Loading a few photos at a time this time round, as heaven knows when will be the next time I will be logging back to the internet.

She's Coming Home!

Category: By Kyels
Being the GB of this site I cannot deny my responsibilities – especially to check for updates made by the owner herself (since she hardly does so) and to keep posting anything here when I am granted the extra time. Anyway, the title speaks the content of my post and I guess I need not elaborate any longer.

In her previous post (last paragraph) she said she wanted me to post juicy stories and gossips but unfortunately I have none at the moment except that that woman is finally coming back in three days time. Actually, there are only two more days to go since it is 0131 hours here already (Malaysian time).

Here’s a story of her pre-departure that is still etched in my mind – vividly. It has been a year but I can still remember every details. Interesting!

I recalled clearly how she was rushing to clean up or reformat her laptop and how we went into Nike to buy her a new pair of shoes since the white/light/midnight blue Adidas were too worn out to be true. I was acting as her consort that time and she needed the company – so did I since it will be a whole long year before I get to see her in flesh again. Anyway, it was a mad rush – with me going to the mall earlier than our appointment time because I had to get her a birthday gift before she travels to the other side of the world and she was a very good friend to me. So, by the time we managed to get everything done she had to leave to Subang to collect her laptop from a friend and it was then - our long goodbyes and I miss you(s). I could not make it to the airport because I was exhausted albeit I wanted so badly to be there. But she understood why and I love her for that reason! No, I have always loved this wonderful friend of mine!

See, I can still remember the whole day and you ought to be happy!

But as they always say – time flies and look it has already been a year since the start of her working stint at the Lake District and now it has come to an end. Truthfully, I really cannot wait for her to touch down because I get to see her again and I truly missed this good friend of mine and how we used to hang out together and how I surprised her at Le Meridien (together with Dylan) because I wanted to see her in skirt … Very lame but yes we did do it after my university event and it was around 0200 hours in the morning when we paid her a visit at the front desk!

The story sounds hilarious and I am grinning like a Cheshire cat just by reminiscing because it was indeed a moment for us to keep. Honestly, I missed this woman ever since she went United Kingdom. Though we had had our own ups and downs but the friendship is still growing strong and it only gets stronger by day.

I am truly blessed to have met someone like her.

I think I ought to stop now if not I will turn this whole post into a mush and you might just cry reading what I wrote. Okay, I am only exaggerating!

Anyway, have a safe flight home and I will be seeing you real soon dear!

So Close Yet Still Far

Category: , , , By R.J
Well it's exactly 3 more days before I finally board my flight back to Malaysia, and 4 more days till I meet my loved ones! CAN'T WAIT!!!

I've had a wonderful 1 year here in the UK, with awesome memories. Wouldn't lie but there were times of 'menyampah times' but all in all my one year here has been memorable and a chance in a life time I would say. I've grown a lot in so many ways and am more confident in certain things. One thing for sure is the guts to do something and that one decision I made, has made me the happiest person on earth ! hehehe *wink*

Last week I had received some super duper heartbreaking news from mommy, asking me to make a decision to put my baby Jackie to sleep as the other dog bit Jackie on her growth. A growth that developed while I was here in UK and was not informed off until that night when I had to make a decision. What was my decision?? I beg mom to save her no matter and to take her to a private vet. Hey for the first time in my life i begged my brother!!! But the end result which I got from mommy yesterday has made me happy again. Jackie's operation when successfully and I do not have to put her to sleep! YIPPEEE!!!! I know Jackie won't be around for that long especially since she is already 12 yrs of age... but my baby is a fighter, has been since she was a lil naughty puppy and will always be as an old fart machine hehehehe.

Ok... I am seriously a lastminute.com when it comes to packing. My luggage is packed, my knapsack and IT bag on the other hand isn't. The stuff to be shipped by cargo are packed and ready in the closet. Yet I still cant see my damn floor!!! And I'm so drained from the party last night! I could so do with a nice long massage.

Sigh......time to drag my arse back to packing and not dilly dally any longer, esp since I have to meet Giovanni in an hour for Coffee at Costa Coffee for our last round of updates, gossips etc etc hahahah.

OH! just realized something. This is going to be my last post from the Lake District (Windermere to be exact) and most likley the last post from the UK. Next post will be when I'm back on Msian Soil. Maybe I'll bug my GB to blog something nice and juicy before she hijacks my blog with Steph! hahaha.

FISH!!! I'm SOOOO LASTMINUTE.COM!!!
